Getting Here

Copse Cottage is part of The Hopcott, a small development of converted farm buildings on the outskirts of Minehead.

Take the A39 from Bridgwater to Minehead. At Minehead, follow the A39 to Porlock, going straight over the first roundabout and again at the second. This is now Hopcott Road.  You'll pass the fire station and a caravan site on the left hand side.  Approximately half a mile after the roundabout, as you get to the brow of the hill, The Hopcott (cream buildings) is on the left.  Turn left into the lane, and then first left into the Hopcott car park.  You will see the railings outside Copse Cottage, no. 20.  Please do not park directly in front of the railings, but keep the track clear in front of the cottage, which gives access to a private field and stable.
